Ben Kaufman is a photographer based in London. His work returns, again and again, to absence in inhabited space: what remains once people have gone, and the patience it takes to notice it.

His photographs have been exhibited at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, in a selection curated by the British photographer Rankin, and in group exhibitions including at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe.

Alongside his photographic practice, Ben is an executive producer. He has produced over 150 commercials worldwide for clients including the BBC, John Lewis, Dior and Aston Martin, a background at the intersection of craft, narrative and production that shapes how he sees.
